Belfast is brilliant city, offering visitors vibrant culture, historic attractions, lively nightlife and a friendly atmosphere. Why not extend your trip to visit the Titanic Belfast or the Ulster Folk Museum?
We're working closely with the Visit Belfast team to offer delegates the best possible experience. Visit Belfast are kindly supporting this event with funding which allows us to offer event tickets at a significantly lower cost, to reflect the cost of travel, including flights. Explore the city.
We would recommend booking your travel, including flights, early to secure the best possible pricing. No passport? No problem! You do not need a passport to travel between England and Northern Ireland - other forms of photo ID are accepted, including drivers licenses.
We'll be organising socials and tours either side of the event to help you make the most of your visit, so consider extending your trip to arrive earlier in the week or leave later on Friday. More details to follow!
SU Strategy Exchange is just that, an opportunity for senior leaders from across our movement to come together to collaborate, share best practice, and reflect on our shared journey. This year’s theme is “The Importance of Relationships” – exploring how strong, authentic, and collaborative relationships power the collective strength of our movement. Together, we’ll look at how unions can build the partnerships, trust, and shared strategies that will help us navigate the challenges of today while shaping the future of the student movement.
Whether you've got examples of great institutional or personal relationships that you've built, or you've got a relationship-focused conundrum you think we need to work through as a sector - however you interpret the theme, we'd love to hear from anyone who would like to lead, co-lead or propose a session for the event. Tell us your ideas before 17 October 2025.
We would also love your input to shape this event. So, If you would like to be involved in setting the agenda for Strategic Exchange and deciding which sessions and workshops make it through please drop Emilie Tapping (Deputy CEO) an email.
